MIDWEST PRESEASON CLASSIC

why this tournament?

This tournament is a great way to get to know your new players and begin preparations for the fall season. Our unique format allows you to play against teams from all over the region that will provide realistic competition at all levels, including Varsity, JV, and Freshman.

Who can play?

Starting in 2020, we opened the tournament up to incoming/trapped 8th grade Club Teams in addition to HS Teams.  You are welcome to bring more than one team and we will do our best to place you in any division you request.

Where will the Classic be held?

Midwest Pre-Season Classic Tournament will be held at the Warren County Sports Park located at 1408 OH-741, Lebanon, OH 45036. This brand new facility opened in the Spring of 2020. The park has 14  80x120 regulation soccer fields (2 synthetic turf fields and 12 grass fields).

What are your fees and application deadline?

The tournament fee is $495 for the first male and/or female team. It is then $425 for each additional team. Application and payment deadline is June 18, 2021.

What is the format?

All teams are guaranteed 5 games, weather permitting.  We will have groups of 8-10 teams playing in a round-robin format. Group winners will be determined via a points system. (3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss.)  Teams are grouped based on strength, geographic location for realistic play, and the opportunity to play a variety of teams.

Do teams need numbers on the shirts?

It is not necessary to have numbers on the shirts. It would be nice to have, but all we ask is that the shirts be the same color at a minimum.
